What Size Can I Brew?
SmartPodz are designed to brew a full mug (7.7 oz) by default. Every order also comes with a Pod Conversion Sticker Set. Just place a sticker on the rim your pod, and your machine will scan it to know how much water to use. You’ll get stickers for Espresso, Double Espresso, and Gran Lungo so you can brew any size you like!
Are the Barcode Stickers Reusable?
Yes! Our laminated barcode stickers are fully reusable and designed to last long-term. There’s no need to purchase additional stickers - they allow you to brew different cup sizes with the same SmartPod and can be reused repeatedly without issue.
Should I get multiple pods?
One pod is all you need to start brewing with SmartPodz, but having more can be really convenient. With multiple pods, you can make a few coffees in a row without rinsing or cleaning in between - perfect for families, guests, or busy mornings. You can also use our Conversion Sticker Set to set each pod for a different size, like Espresso or Gran Lungo, so you’re always ready to brew what you want.
Are they compatible with my machine?
Yes! SmartPodz are compatible with all Nespresso Vertuo machines - the ones that use the larger, round pods you see in the pictures. If you’re unsure, just check our compatibility chart on the page to confirm your exact model, or send us an email. We respond quickly!
Will SmartPodz damage my machine?

I bought these pods and I brew my first cup on my Nespresso machine. When I went to make a second cup, the coffee did not come out. I was getting ready to return them thinking they did not work, but my son who loves to brew coffee told me to use the small plastic coffee measurement it came with and to level it out. I leveled it out with the stick side of the brush that came with the set. He told me to take the tamper and to just sit it on the coffee grounds, not to push it down, so I did. I let it sit on the coffee ground for 10 seconds. I removed it, closed the pod and tried it. The coffee was perfect. I have been following this procedure consistently since and it has not failed. I highly recommend these pods. They really work and the coffee is dark, robost and truly delicious with lots of crema. I use El Morro coffee espresso ground and Illy coffee grounds.
Very happy with this product. It works great with my machine and I can brew different amounts with the barcode stickers. The coffee and espresso also comes out frothy just like with a Nespresso pod. I originally got a different pod model that wasn't cooperating with my Nespresso machine. Customer service worked with me and traded out for this model and I couldn't be happier with the product.
